Job summary

Andromeda Systems Incorporated seeks aSenior Logistics Analyst to support the PMA-271 program office in Patuxent River, MD. The role involves guiding logistics analysts and conducting analyses across logistics, maintenance, and sustainment domains on DoD weapon systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop life-cycle cost insights, and contribute to program scheduling and improvement efforts while interfacing with DoD stakeholders. This position is based on-site in Maryland.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of acquisition-related experience for DoD weapons systems in aviation depot, MRO, or manufacturing environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional 4 years of acquisition or operational logistics management may substitute for degree.
• At least 10 years of acquisition-related DoD experience in LORA, maintenance planning, logistics support/sustainability analysis, operational availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret and present complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs.
• Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses.
• Assist PMA-271 scheduling team in establishing a long-term sustainment plan schedule.
• Review CDRLs and provide comments using CDRL Tool and AMS.
• Recommend tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics elements requirements.
• Propose changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and material requirements, and training devices.
