Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a dynamic Client Manager to join our Ports and Harbors team in the United States. You will manage client relationships, spearhead new business ventures, lead proposals, and drive strategic planning for waterfront environmental programs.

You will leverage existing connections to grow the business, stay ahead of regulations, and collaborate with project managers for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or similar technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering consulting services in either the public or private sector.
• Experience in marine, waterfront, coastal, dredging and/or resiliency projects.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering consulting services in either the public or private sector.
• Demonstrated success in business development in the port & harbor infrastructure and dredging market.
• Proven technical leadership or project management on complex, multi-disciplined projects including preparation of design calculations, site plans, construction drawings and specifications, and other technical work products.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business Development: leverage existing relationships to identify and cultivate new opportunities and close deals.
• Lead Proposals and Presentations: develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
• Foster Long-Term Relationships: build and maintain long-term client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Strategic Selling: develop strategies for client risks and stakeholder issues.
• Ensure Project Success: collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure successful outcomes from initiation to completion.
• Stay Informed: keep up-to-date with regulations affecting waterfront facilities.
• Strategic Planning: participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives.
• Technical Leadership: provide technical knowledge and project management support on turnkey or design-build projects.
• Mentor and Coach: guide team members toward excellence and continuous improvement.
