Job summary

The Foth Companies is seeking a Lead Environmental Regulatory Specialist/Project Manager to oversee environmental, regulatory, and coastal/waterfront projects in the Northeast. You will coordinate fieldwork, permitting, client relationships, and technical reporting while guiding project teams to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Coastal, Civil, or Structural Engineering, Coastal Zone Management/Planning, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar environmental engineering role.
• Experience delivering local, state and federal permitting, especially in MA and RI.
• Experience with EPA NPDES permits and local zoning/planning boards.
• Reviewing architectural/engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight and management for multiple environmental, regulatory, and construction projects in the Northeast.
• Maintain regulatory knowledge with coastal/waterfront development and establish relationships with agency personnel.
• Oversee projects including docks, marinas, shoreline stabilization, and environmental restoration tasks.
• Support business development activities, RFQ/RFP responses, and client shortlist presentations.
• Coordinate fieldwork, obtain regulatory approvals, collaborate with design/engineering/construction teams, and drive procurement.
