Job summary

Woolpert seeks a Hydrographic Survey Specialist to join the La Porte, TX team, working in marine infrastructure and navigational surveying across Texas with travel to other states. Candidates should have survey and vessel operation experience, and be prepared for significant field work and routine travel.

The role emphasizes involvement in multibeam surveys, GNSS control, LiDAR processing, and data handling with industry software. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, environmental science, ocean engineering, geology, geography, spatial science, marine science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Conduct multibeam and singlebeam hydrographic surveys.
Perform GNSS topographic and terrestrial LiDAR surveys.
Mobilize survey vessels and manage field operations.
Assist in GNSS and optical control surveys.
Operate and tow survey vessels in coastal waterways.
Process data using Hydrographic software and CAD tools.
