Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Hydrographic Survey Specialist in La Porte, TX to join the Hydrographic Survey team. The role involves extensive fieldwork across Texas coastal waters, boat handling, and data processing for marine surveys.

Applicants should have a surveying or geomatics background, be willing to travel up to ~100 days per year, and bring experience with hydrographic or land surveys. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics or related field.
• Interest in marine-focused work and willingness to perform regular field tasks and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform multibeam and single-beam hydrographic surveys.
• Coordinate GNSS topographic surveys and terrestrial LiDAR surveys.
• Mobilize survey vessels and assist in vessel operations.
• Process data for multibeam, LiDAR, and GNSS outputs.
• Perform AutoCAD Civil 3D tasks and 3D data processing.
