Job summary

Centerline Logistics Corp. seeks an experienced accounting leader to supervise staff, oversee PR/AR/AP controls, and prepare financial statements and tax returns. The role requires CPA credentials and extensive maritime industry experience.

You will implement financial systems, manage purchasing/inventory controls, and interface with auditors across Centerline and subsidiaries. Candidates should have at least 5–8 years in accounting/finance, strong knowledge of taxation, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Four year college degree in business or accounting.
• Valid CPA certification.
• 5-8 years’ experience in accounting and finance.
• 3 years of increasingly responsible management experience in the maritime industry.
• Experience in fuel terminal operations and controls.
• Knowledge of accounting, finance and taxation issues.
• Knowledge of oil transportation and marine industry.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, and accounting software.
• Valid State driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently or with no guidance.
• Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
• Ability to make decisions and give directions within approved guidelines.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to one week at a time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting staff
• Review critical control points for PR/AR/AP
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns
• Prepare detailed variance reports comparing budgets and prior periods for management
• Implement financial systems

• Perform other duties as assigned
