Fincantieri Marinette Marine in Marinette, WI is seeking an Engineering Intern during winter break to gain hands-on experience in a shipbuilding engineering environment under the guidance of experienced engineers. You will assist with technical deliverables, 2D drafting, 3D modeling, hull analysis, stability calculations, weight estimating, and support testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in completing technical deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Support design and analysis through 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and defining material requirements for assigned projects.
• Assist with hull analysis, stability calculations, and weight estimating to support marine engineering design.
• Assist with all testing activities, including preparation, dockside testing, and sea trials as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
