Job summary

Navico Group, a Brunswick division in Menomonee Falls, WI, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a full-time May–August program. You will support new product development and sustaining efforts, test in a lab, and help with prototype development.

Ideal candidates are pursuing ME degree, with basic machine shop skills, SolidWorks/Creo experience, and strong communication. The role is onsite, with relocation offered and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Basic machine shop experience with vertical mill, lathe, and general tools.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a competitive environment.
• Lab experience in environmental chamber, electrical or mechanical tests is a plus.
• Solidworks and/or Creo 3D modeling experience through coursework or internships.
• Able to work independently and with a team; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute product validation testing with detailed test reporting.
• Build prototypes according to engineering data using electrical and mechanical principles.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures and provide technical assistance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement repair solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Contribute to decisions affecting project scope and timelines.
