Job summary

ARMADA INC. is seeking an ESH Technician to promote Environmental, Safety and Health standards across diverse jobsites and shipyard facilities. You will work independently and with teams to provide ongoing guidance on ESH regulations to the Project Team.

Responsibilities include daily inspections, incident investigations, safety meetings and training, and ensuring hazard controls and compliant practices. This full-time role reports to the ESH Supervisor and requires hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 2+ years experience in the maritime industry.
• OSHA maritime and general safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of facilities, vessels, and piers to ensure compliance and identify hazards.
• Work with on-site team to ensure policy and procedure adherence and prevent incidents.
• Represent the company during inspections, investigations and interactions with stakeholders.
• Conduct safety meetings and training on ESH topics (respiratory fit testing, fall protection).
• Identify safety/environmental hazards and recommend risk reductions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents.
