Job summary

Enstructure Savannah in Savannah, GA is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to safely load and unload cargo from vessels and operate a range of heavy equipment used in maritime and terminal operations.

The role requires experience with cranes, container handlers, forklifts, and related machinery, a high school diploma, and a valid TWIC. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and support safety and signaling procedures while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid TWIC required.
• Experience with cranes or heavy equipment in maritime environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts.
• Ability to communicate effectively via radio and signals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate gantry cranes, container handlers, forklifts, yard hustlers, and other vessel and terminal support equipment.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and position cargo per procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Document inspections and assist with corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in vessel operations and equipment.
• Assist in training support personnel and new operators.
• Comply with safety standards and signaling procedures.
• Monitor surroundings to ensure safe operations.
