Job summary

Geo Owl is seeking a Maritime Cartographer to support our customer in Springfield, Virginia. Candidates must have 5 years of GEOINT/IMINT experience or 1–3 years with a geospatial degree, and be proficient in geographic information systems and cartography.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required. The role involves creating shapefiles and geodatabases, leveraging ArcGIS Pro and related software, and applying geospatial analysis to NGA-style workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years with a related Geospatial degree or 5 years with a high school diploma in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and IMINT.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Expertise in geography, cartography, and GIS including ArcGIS
• Experience creating shapefiles, geodatabases and features
• Knowledge of GIS software suites used by NGA (ArcGIS Pro, ERDAS, SocetSet) and common office software
