Job summary

GHD is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support maritime and coastal business development, proposals, and admin tasks. This mid-level role requires strong organization, detail orientation, and the ability to coordinate across offices and teams.

You will manage proposals, track deadlines, update marketing materials, and maintain Salesforce records while collaborating with project managers and marketing staff to deliver compelling content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business, Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years in client service or business development, preferably ports/maritime/public sector.
• Strong understanding of maritime/coastal operations and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Support proposals and qualifications from setup through final submission.
• Coordinate inputs, track deadlines, and ensure submission requirements are met.
• Perform quality checks for formatting, grammar, and client instructions.
• Create/update project descriptions, resumes, capability statements, and marketing content.
• Maintain Salesforce records including opportunities, activities, contacts.
• Organize pursuit files, content libraries, and trackers for easy access.
• Assist with meetings, reporting, and pipeline tracking across offices.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical staff, and marketing professionals.
