Job summary

Global - a 1st Flagship Company in Norfolk, VA is seeking skilled Marine Welders for a potential 5-year project aboard Navy ships. This hands-on role requires working in tight spaces and following strict NAVSEA welding standards.

You will perform precision GTAW/TIG welding on copper-nickel piping systems, inspect joints, and repair as needed. Active DoD Secret clearance is required, with 4+ years of welding and 2+ years on Navy ships.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 4+ years welding experience; 2+ years on Navy ships.
• Completion of a formal trade training program (trade school, military training, apprenticeship, or equivalent).
• GTAW (TIG) pipe certification required.
• Knowledge of NAVSEA welding standards.
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

We are currently seeking skilled Marine Welders for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role.
