Job summary

Vigor Marine Group seeks an Electrical Lead to oversee electrical distribution systems, circuit breakers, controllers, and related equipment during vessel construction. You will develop relationships with project management and coordinate safety-first execution across multiple projects.

The role requires a strong background in AC/DC theory, schematics, and Lean Six Sigma principles, with proven leadership of electrical crews and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in new construction or repair of vessel electrical outfitting.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles experience.
• Experience in senior supervision or leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete electrical power distribution systems, circuit breakers, controllers, motors, switches and related equipment during vessel construction.
• Develop relationships with project management stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with planning/estimating to review specifications and bid estimates.
• Create and manage BOMs and material plans to support production schedules.
• Lead electrical crews (3–60 personnel) across multiple projects and ensure safe, cost-effective installation.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and design engineers to resolve installation issues.
