We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Systems Operations Manager to oversee and lead operational activities supporting marine electrical, automation, and integrated vessel systems. Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations supporting marine systems projects, engineering services, and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement operational plans aligned with business objectives, growth targets, and client commitments.
• Lead and develop diverse teams including engineering, project management, and field service personnel.
• Oversee project execution, resource planning, scheduling, procurement, logistics, quality, and operational performance metrics.
• Manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Establish and track operational KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery, productivity, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify operational risks, project deviations, resource constraints, and cost issues, implementing corrective measures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, profitability, quality, and overall operational performance.
• Optimize working capital and resource utilization across operations.
• Ensure projects and services meet customer expectations for quality, schedule, responsiveness, and technical standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, vessel operators, shipyards, engineering teams, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support client discussions regarding technical requirements, project execution, service needs, and operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, integrity, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant marine operations experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in marine operations, marine systems, shipboard equipment, vessel services, or related maritime activities.
• Proven track record in managing or leading operational, engineering, project, or field service teams.
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary, diverse, and potentially multinational teams.
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, automation, controls, power distribution, propulsion, or integrated vessel systems is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of project execution, budgeting, cost control, resource planning, and operational performance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and technical teams simultaneously.
• Customer-focused mindset with relevant experience working directly with shipowners and external stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational and commercial decisions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Preferred experience includes marine electrical and automation systems, vessel power and propulsion, lifecycle service operations, shipyard projects, vessel commissioning, retrofit, or repair.
• Experience managing engineering and field service personnel, operational P&L, budgeting, forecast, and cost management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and operational KPI development, working directly with clients such as shipowners, operators, shipyards, and marine contractors.
