Job summary

Avail Staffing Company seeks Marine Service Technicians to join a hands-on, solutions-driven team servicing U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial vessels.

You will work on electric and hydraulic actuation systems, valves, and related components to keep ships mission-ready and operational. You will travel to client vessels and worksites for service, repair, maintenance, and certification activities, diagnose and repair hydraulic and valve systems, and perform overhauls and onboard assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience working on mechanical and/or hydraulic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability and willingness to travel and work aboard ships and in industrial environments.
• Excellent work ethic with a focus on customer satisfaction and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client vessels and worksites to perform service, repair, maintenance, and certification activities.
• Diagnose and repair actuator and valve systems, including Butterfly valves, Gate valves, Globe valves.
• Perform hydraulic ram and cylinder overhauls.
• Conduct onboard grooms, equipment assessments, and RMVA installations.
• Test, inspect, and certify relief valves.
• Follow all company safety procedures and customer requirements while working aboard vessels and at industrial facilities.
