Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking an experienced underwriting support professional to assist with the property underwrit­ing process in the United States. The role involves data collection, account setup, rating, producing quotes and binders, and policy/endorsement issuance.

You will provide timely reports and analysis to underwriters and ensure accuracy across systems. Candidates should have 3+ years in insurance or reinsurance with a focus on analytics, strong customer service, and familiarity with rating

Qualifications

• 3+ years insurance or reinsurance experience with emphasis on analytic functions in underwriting support, underwriting, and/or accounting.
• Working knowledge of rating and pricing models and reinsurance for all lines of business.
• Understanding of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting process for property coverages with minimal supervision.
• Collect data, perform account setup, rating, quotes, and binders.
• Issue policies and endorsements and provide reports and analysis to underwriters.
• Enter data into systems accurately and maintain databases per guidelines.
• Interface with brokers/clients to resolve inquiries and ensure timely processing.
