Georgia Ports Authority is seeking a Systems Architect to design and implement IT systems for the Ocean Terminal facility. You will lead cross-functional teams, integrate TOS systems, and drive data analytics across multiple platforms.

The role requires 4–6 years in terminal operating systems, systems development and integration, plus a background in port Operations. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and TWIC/driver licenses are noted in requirements.

Competenze

• Experience implementing Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and integrated marine terminal software.
• Navis TOS experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, business processes and IT systems integrations.
• Ability to interact professionally with GPA staff, external vendors and customers at all levels.

Mansioni

• Evaluate software and hardware systems for use in a marine terminal setting and design solutions.
• Lead integration of marine terminal systems (TOS, RFID, PDS) to ensure data flow with minimal errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure systems and complex partner integrations.
• Develop custom software solutions to resolve system gaps and enable data analytics across systems.
• Lead system testing for integration and data analytics; create and execute test plans.
• Troubleshoot issues across multiple systems; create and update vendor tickets and docs.
• Work with Operations and IT teams to design operational reports.
• Prepare go-live checklists and participate in go/no-go decisions.
• Support go-live by coordinating GPA staff and IT vendors to resolve issues.
• Drive process improvement with KPIs and data-driven changes.
• Apply change management strategies to foster adoption by staff.
• Create and manage budgets and contracts with third-party vendors.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
