The MarineTechnician III performs calibration, testing, and evaluation of marineinstrumentation to ensure the accuracy and precision of measurement systems.This position utilizes various measurement and testing equipment in acalibration laboratory setting and performs calibration procedures inaccordance with established standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements.The Marine Technician III maintains calibration documentation, troubleshootsequipment performance issues, and performs necessary adjustments or repairs toensure equipment accuracy and reliability. This position also and supportcalibration operations. collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to evaluatesystem performance.
Associate’sdegree from an accredited college or university in Marine Science, Engineering orElectronics Technology or a related field. Two to four (2-4) years ofexperience working with oceanographic sensors, instrumentation, or equipment. Mustbe willing to travel for training at vendor locations. Must be a U.S Citizen and have a validdriver’s license.
Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering discipline. Five (5) or more years’ experience working ina calibration laboratory setting.
