Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in electrical system design, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Two (2) years of experience using electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar).
  • US Citizen with a valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and circuits for subsea robotics equipment, including power distribution, control systems, sensors, and communications, from concept through component level.
  • Create and maintain accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and technical documentation using industry-standard design tools.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic issues on ROV/AUV systems, including fiber optic systems, telemetry, high-voltage AC/DC distribution, and underwater communication links, both in the shop and during offshore operations.
  • Support system integration, testing, and upgrades in collaboration with mechanical, software, and operations personnel. Assist with mobilization, demobilization, and offshore field support as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of system configurations, repairs, modifications, and configuration control.
  • Assist with development of technical procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols related to electrical systems.
  • Provide technical input and documentation support for proposals, project planning, and customer deliverables as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
