Job summary

Brunswick’s Freedom Boat Club seeks a Marine Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain boats and marine engines across multiple clubs. You will work hands-on with outboard, sterndrive and inboard systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely service.

Ideal candidates have 21+ years old, 12V electrical knowledge, rigging, diagnostics, and a safety-first mindset. Expect outdoor work, occasional heavy lifting, and MA travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of 12V electrical systems, rigging, and outboard diagnostics.
• Fiberglass repair experience is a plus.
• Boating experience preferred and safety-conscious.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installs, repairs and maintenance on boats and engines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using technical expertise.
• Manage time and coordinate with service administration.
• Review repair orders and advise on required repairs.
• Conduct safety inspections and communicate maintenance needs.
• Keep work area clean, organized and compliant with safety policies.
• Travel within MA coastal region to service Freedom Boat Club locations.
