Job summary

Brunswick Corporation’s Freedom Boat Club seeks a Marine Repair Technician to join our operations. You’ll manage on-site diagnostics, repairs, testing, and documentation to ensure vessels meet manufacturer standards and ship customer-ready.

This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of marine engines, and the ability to work across multiple club locations daily, with safety and teamwork at the core.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and 21+ years old.
• Experience servicing marine engines with Mercury or similar certification.
• Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets.
• Willingness to travel daily to club locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements on boats.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Communicate repair progress with parts team and supervisors.
• Review work orders and vessel specs to identify failure points and define repairs.
• Restore vessels to manufacturer standards and customer-ready condition.
• Maintain a safe, organized, mobile-ready work environment.
• Assist with vessel movement and parts coordination as needed.
