Job summary

Hamlin’s Marine in Hampden, ME is seeking a hands-on technician to repair and rig boats and engines. Experience in the marine industry is preferred, but automotive or recreational experience will be considered; you will assemble new boat packages and service and troubleshoot preowned boats, motors, and trailers.

This full-time position requires 40–55 hours weekly (Mon–Fri 7:30am–4–5pm and Saturdays 8–12 during boating season).

Job description

A successful applicant will have technical and diagnostic skills to repair and rig boats and engines. Experience in the marine industry is preferred, but recreational and automotive experience are considered. In this role, you will be working with name‑brand products assembling new boat packages in addition to servicing and troubleshooting preowned boats, motors, and trailers.

This is a full‑time position requiring 40–55 hours, M‑F 7:30 am–4–5 pm, and Saturdays from 8–12 during boating season.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license.

Compensation Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour.
