Job summary

Hamlin’s Marine in Hampden, ME, seeks a full-time boat technician with skills to repair and rig boats and engines, diagnose issues, and service trailers. Experience in the marine industry is preferred, though recreational and automotive backgrounds are considered.

You will work with name-brand products, assemble new boat packages for customers, and perform inspections during the boating season. A valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States are required.

Job description

A successful applicant will have technical and diagnostic skills to repair and rig boats and engines. Experience in the marine industry is preferred, but recreational and automotive experience are considered. In this role, you will be working with name‑brand products assembling new boat packages in addition to servicing and troubleshooting preowned boats, motors, and trailers.

This is a full‑time position requiring 40–55 hours, M‑F 7:30 am–4–5 pm, and Saturdays from 8–12 during boating season.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid driver’s license.

Compensation Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour.
