Job Description for Marine Mechanic at Ocean Star International

Welcome to Ocean Star International, a Utah-based company specializing in high-quality aquaculture feed, notably Brine Shrimp Eggs harvested from the Great Salt Lake. With over 40 years of experience, we invite you to join our team as a Marine Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and repairs on boats and equipment during the off-season (February 1st - September 30th) to ensure readiness for the harvest season.
2. During the harvest season (October 1st - January 31st), work stationed at our camp on Stansbury Island to maintain boats overnight, ensuring they are operational for daily harvesting activities.
3. Assist with ensuring the longevity and functionality of boats against the corrosive effects of the Great Salt Lake's salinity.

Minimum Requirements:
