Qualifications

• Relevant marine or mechanical/technical qualification or experience.
• Experience in marine engineering or vessel technical management.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and engineering systems.
• Willingness to travel to vessels and locations.
• Portuguese and English language skills mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain company standards and operating procedures.
• Oversee the technical condition and performance of assigned vessels.
• Coordinate planned, preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor technical defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Support vessel inspections, certification and technical compliance.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and specialist service providers.
• Support dry-dock, repair and maintenance projects.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and records.
• Support technical budgeting and cost control.
• Provide technical support to Captains and onboard teams.
• Work closely with Nautical and Operations teams to minimise operational disruption.
