Job summary

William E Munson Company Inc invites skilled Marine Systems Technicians to join our team building welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients (fire/rescue, research vessels, high-speed patrol, USCG certified passenger vessels). We operate in a state-of-the-art production facility with a four-day, 10-hour workweek (Mon–Thu) and a three-day weekend.

A $5,000 signing bonus is offered for technicians with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in marine mechanical, electrical, or systems installation.
• Knowledge of marine propulsion, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, propulsion, plumbing, and carpentry systems aboard our custom boats.
• Work with diesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems.
• Assemble and install steering, control systems, and marine hardware.
• Read installation instructions and interpret schematics and system diagrams.
• Ensure systems meets safety, performance, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

We’re offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires.

Munson Boatsis seeking Marine Systems Technicians to join our team in manufacturing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high speed patrol boats, USCG certified passenger boats and more. Our boats are assembled in a state of the art production facility with radiant floor heat providing a comfortable work environment throughout the year.

This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts), allowing for a great work-life balance with a three day weekend every week.
