Job summary

Munson Boats is seeking a Marine Systems Technician to join our manufacturing team building welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients. The role features a four-day workweek (Mon–Thu, 10-hour shifts) with a $5,000 signing bonus and a structured shop environment focused on top-tier craftsmanship.

You will install and integrate mechanical, electrical, propulsion, plumbing, and carpentry systems aboard custom boats, work with diesel engines, pumps, hydraulics, and HVAC, and read

Qualifications

• Experience in marine mechanical, electrical, or systems installation.
• Knowledge of marine propulsion, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, propulsion, plumbing, and carpentry systems aboard our custom boats.
• Work with diesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems.
• Assemble and install steering, control systems, and marine hardware.
• Read installation instructions and interpret schematics and system diagrams.
• Ensure systems meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
