Job summary

Sea Machines Robotics is seeking a Project Manager, Marine Systems to lead planning, execution, and completion of unique customer projects in the maritime domain. The role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in project management and 5+ years in marine industries, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a proactive, travel-ready mindset. US citizenship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management or related roles.
• 5+ years of experience in marine, maritime, naval or offshore industries.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a nice-to-have.
• US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
• Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and metrics.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Lead post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.
