Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
• Typically 3–7 years of ship design, construction or similar experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and detailed design for vessel piping systems, including calculations, diagrams, drawings, design change notices, and equipment selection.
• Manage vendor scopes and interfaces with multiple OEMs and providers.
• Review design documents from shipyard engineers, vendors, and external partners.
• Prepare technical specifications and maintain vendor information for assigned systems.
• Control change management in the design workflow to incorporate vendor changes.
