Job summary

Marcurius Multi-Mission Solutions in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Marine Systems Engineer to act as the internal technical authority for hull platform evaluation, integration, and design validation across multiple unmanned and manned craft. You will own hull-level design decisions and ensure vendor deliverables meet structural and hydrodynamic requirements while enabling future manufacturability.

Qualifications

Degree in naval architecture, ocean engineering, or marine engineering.
5+ years of marine platform design or design review.
Demonstrated experience with multihull or catamaran design.
Ability to review stability analyses, structural drawings, and accommodation plans.
Experience with naval architecture tools such as Maxsurf, Rhino, ShipConstructor.

Responsibilities

Own technical evaluation of hull platforms across multiple craft classes.
Review stability analyses and structural design deliverables.
Define and enforce accommodation requirements for propulsion, payloads, sensors.
Ensure hull designs support full system integration with other leads.
Provide design-for-manufacturing input for 3D printing and assembly.
Evaluate structural loading and validate designs under operating conditions.
Define platform-level acceptance criteria with Test & Evaluation.
Assess operational limits including sea state, speed, and stability.
