Job summary

You will prepare reports, interact with clients, and support field operations with accurate, timely findings.

This intermediate role requires engineering or physical science education, seagoing experience or relevant surveying background, and the ability to read plans and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• Engineering/physical science degree or marine/nautical credentials with seagoing background.
• Minimum 3 years as Surveyor I or 5 years in engineering/survey within marine industry.
• Ability to read engineering plans and understand shipbuilding practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine surveys on classed vessels, platforms, or manufacturers for classification and compliance.
• Prepare accurate, timely survey reports and maintain survey files.
• Engage with clients to resolve issues within area of expertise.
• Develop working knowledge of ABS Rules, guides, and safety policies.
