Job summary

You will supervise welders, fitters, tackers, firewatches and support staff, interpret technical drawings, and enforce hot-work and production standards while maintaining strong communication with management.

Candidate must show at least 3 years in shipyard supervision and a proven ability to drive productivity and crew accountability

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct shipyard experience.
• 3+ years in a supervisory Foreman capacity.
• Desirable: marine fabrication, structural fitting, and welding processes.
• Proven ability to manage personnel and delegate daily tasks.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, project specs, and work instructions.
• Strong knowledge of shipyard safety, hot-work procedures, and production standards.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to foster team success.
• Ability to track and improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, Attendance, and crew output.
• Reliable and professional with clear communication to management.
