Job summary

Blue Robotics is seeking a dependable Packer to join our production team in Torrance, CA. You will package parts for underwater vehicles and sensors, ensuring accuracy and quality as they ship to researchers and engineers worldwide.

We provide hands-on training, clear procedures, and aim for packaging proficiency within 3 months. This role supports manufacturing flow and requires basic math, tools handling, and a willingness to learn with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using basic tools (screwdriver, drill, tape gun).
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately package and label products to meet quality standards.
• Complete manufacturing orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed notes on each job when necessary.
• Report scrap and waste.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of products and proactively identify issues.
• Maintain an orderly workstation.
• Report low stock and trigger re-orders.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate product or packaging issues as they arise.
• Complete other tasks as needed from time to time
