Bedrock Ocean Exploration seeks a Marine Robotics Assembly Technician to bridge design and production for our AUVs and subsea systems. You will join engineering and manufacturing teams to refine assembly processes, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure high build quality for mission-critical components.

You thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with an eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving. Experience with robotics, AUVs, and small-batch production is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or extensive practical experience with complex vehicle systems.
• Experience with autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) or related technologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on electro-mechanical assembly for robotics or related sectors.
• Experience leading a team of technicians and ensuring quality control.
• Familiarity with small-batch production and process-controlled environments.
• Prototype-to-production experience and field-ready testing.
• IPC and/or J-STD certification.
• Ability to organize tools, equipment and lab spaces for safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Production assembly of electro-mechanical systems with high traceability.
• Prototype assembly of AUVs and subsea components during early development.
• Rigorous testing and validation to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine manufacturing processes.
• Maintain detailed build procedures and troubleshooting records.
