The Research Corporation of the University of Guam invites applications for a temporary, full-time Research Associate II (RCUOG). The position supports science-to-management outreach for the Micronesia Coral Reef Monitoring Program and develops content for the Micronesia Marine Protected Area portal.

It requires SCUBA certification, strong communication, and project management skills. Salary ranges from $23.91 to $25.76 per hour, with a typical workweek of 40 hours.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in marine science, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Three years of related work experience, or a Bachelor’s with five years’ experience or graduate coursework.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage science-to-management communications and outreach materials for MCRM.
• Support online portal development for Micronesia Marine Protected Area (MPA).
• Assist in regional training, data entry, management and analysis for MCRM partners.
• Support fieldwork and fisheries-related activities including coral reef monitoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
