Posillico Civil, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager by tracking submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site. You will manage safety communications, manuals and records to support on-site operations.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering with 2+ years in heavy construction or marine work, plus strong organizational and follow-through abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in Heavy Construction and Marine work (site-work, dredging, roads or environmental).
• Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and have excellent follow-through capability.

Responsibilities

• Track submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site; maintain associated records.
• Track and maintain safety communications, manuals and records.
• Prepare and deliver weekly Toolbox Talks and Daily Safety Huddles; maintain safety records and MSDS file.
• Review and approve material and supplier invoices; manage monthly estimates with project team.
• Develop and update project look-ahead schedules and maintain submittal packages.
