Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager on submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site. You will track safety communications, logs and project records while coordinating with field personnel and the owner.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years in heavy construction, with strong communication, organization and deadline-driven work style. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in Heavy Construction (site-work, roads or environmental).
• Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and have excellent follow-through capability.
• Weekend/Nighttime work as required by the project.
• Verbal and written communication skills are essential to this position.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment; able to accurately process written documents, perform duties in a timely manner, be highly organized and able to interface; communicate effectively with company, clients and field personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll tracking at the job site.
• Maintain safety records and coordinate toolbox talks and safety communications.
• Maintain logs: General correspondence, Shop Drawing, Subcontractor Daily, Delivery logs.
• Review monthly estimates with Superintendent/PM and manage extra work files.
• Process payroll data and Subcontractor daily logs for monthly reports.
• Assist in purchasing materials and review project plans and submittals.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and ensure submittal packages are accurate.
