Oceaneering's Marine Services Division in Bremerton, WA is seeking Outside Machinists to install, repair, and test propulsion components, pumps, valves, and hydraulics on shipboard systems. The role requires reading blueprints, precision measurements, and alignment in an industrial shipyard with strict safety standards.

You must have a high school diploma, 10 years of maritime mechanical experience, the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and be a U.S. citizen.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience as a Marine Equipment Mechanic or similar maritime industry experience.
• Ability to obtain government base access and extensive technical certifications (e.g. NAVSEA Hatch Inspector, SUBSAFE qualification).
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and qualify other craftsmen in mechanical procedures and safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, align, and operate portable machining tools and hand tools.
• Use precision measuring instruments to record measurements.
• Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specs for repair or installation work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot abnormal mechanical conditions and recommend corrective actions.
