Manson Construction Co. is seeking an Oiler to assist the Chief and Watch Engineers in maintaining and operating vessel systems, including hydraulics and diesel engines. This non-live aboard Cutter Suction Dredge role requires 8–12 hour rotating shifts, post-offer physical, drug screen, and travel around 67%.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Valid picture identification.
• TWIC card required.
• One-year marine experience preferred.
• Qualified Engine Department member (QMED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief/Watch Engineers with installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment (engines, pumps, fixtures, and structures).
• Maintain equipment logs via devices, meters, gauges, and valves to ensure good running condition.
• Perform routine fueling and lubrication tasks, including hose connections and transfers.
