Pantheon Data in the Washington, DC area seeks a Journeyman Marine Mechanical Engineer (Auxiliary) to sustain vessel systems through overhauls. You will evaluate shipboard auxiliaries and design replacements for hydraulics, piping, HVAC, pumps, and valves, contributing to system documentation and ship specifications.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, be able to perform design calculations, and collaborate remotely with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Ability to perform design calculations and studies.
• Experience in piping and auxiliary systems design.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
• Must meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and documentation design, develop, and evaluate the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, to include, but not limited to: auxiliary systems, hydraulics weight handling equipment, rudders, piping, pumps, valves, and HVAC, and apply applicable design and requirements.
• Develop system documentation and ship specifications.
