Zusammenfassung

Solvere Technical seeks a Marine Mechanic/Electrical Technician II to support maintenance, overhaul, and upkeep of RHIBs for US government agencies. The role includes dismantling, repairing, relocating, and installing marine systems, with emphasis on propulsion and hydraulic/pneumatic components.

You will work with a team to inspect failures, perform repairs, and ensure on-time delivery to clients. Travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 10% may be required; a passport and USCG boating certification are

Qualifikationen

• Must have High School Diploma.
• Must possess minimum of seven years of experience as a marine mechanic.
• Must have or be able to obtain current USCG approved boating course certification.
• Must have or be able to obtain a passport.
• Experience with RHIB for federal or USCG boats desirable.
• Must provide a clean driving record.
• Must provide your own tools and tool box.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with a team performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on government vessels.
• Perform equipment and component assessments and repairs; identify failures and potential failures; assess boat/component condition.
• Perform repairs and replacements of small boat sponson collar systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and replacements of trailer components.
• Conduct regular boat maintenance including oil and filter changes.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, installation, and testing.
