Solvere Technical Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Marine Mechanic/Electrical Technician II to maintain and repair government vessels, including RHIBs, propulsion and electrical systems. Travel to CONUS and occasional OCONUS locations is expected.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of marine mechanic experience, can read schematics, operate a forklift, and bring personal tools. A USCG boating course certification and passport are required, along with a HS diploma.

Formación

• Minimum five years of experience as a marine mechanic.
• Must have or obtain USCG boating course certification.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with a team performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on government vessels.
• Perform equipment assessments and repairs, identify failures and potential failures.
• Repair and replace boat sponson collar systems and trailer components.
• Perform electrical repairs and testing; conduct operational testing before delivery.
• Transport boats to client locations and support testing and evaluation.
• Maintain safety and quality inspections per contractual guidelines.
