Job summary

American Offshore is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our production team in Aiken, SC. You will handle order picking, sanding, polishing and assembly of marine panels and parts, ensuring every piece meets our high standards before it ships.

You’ll read and interpret technical drawings, operate CNCs and laser engravers where required, and perform rigorous quality checks to prevent defects. This is a hands-on, on-site role calling for physical stamina and pride in craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure zero defects.
• Ability to operate sanding, routing and polishing equipment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Product Assembly: Sanding, polishing, and assembling products with components that require extreme precision.
• Technical Interpretation: Reading and executing builds based on technical drawings.
• Quality Control: Acting as the first line of defense to ensure zero defects in functionality or aesthetics.
• Innovation & Efficiency: Operating modern tech (CNCs, laser engravers) while maintaining craftsmanship.
• Accountability: Taking ownership of your workstation and ensuring orders move through the shop floor on schedule.
