Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks a Maintenance Planner at the Hardin Street Marine in Catlettsburg, KY to support troubleshooting, planning, and execution of marine/shoreside equipment maintenance. You will develop detailed job plans, manage materials, and coordinate between Operations, Logistics and Maintenance to ensure safe, economical work execution.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

Four (4) years of related experience.
Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance (PHMSA, OSHA) and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains relationships with stakeholders to support planning and workload execution.
Coordinates and schedules maintenance activities using SAP, Scheduling software, and other tools for efficient resource use.
Reviews and analyzes operational, maintenance, and financial data to support compliance and audits.
Develops and maintains standardized job plans, BOMs, and asset master data in CMMS/EAM systems.
Plans, estimates, and schedules maintenance and capital work including labor, materials, and tools.
Leads or participates in downtime and project planning meetings with stakeholders.
Supports field personnel as SAP Super User and tests system patches and new tools.
Contributes to maintenance strategies, cost control, and standardized asset management.
