Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Canton, Ohio seeks a Senior/Lead Routine Maintenance Planner – Electrical. This role supports the E&I shop, develops detailed plans, procures materials, and coordinates between Operations and Maintenance to ensure safe, economical execution of routine work.

You will review work orders, develop packages, read P&IDs and schematics, and lead backlog reviews while ensuring safety, PSM, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Five years experience in a related field is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). SAP or other planning software preferred.
• Prior planning and coordinating E&I work is preferred.
• Prior leadership skills are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process work notifications into work orders with proper authorization and priority.
• Develop detailed work packages, procure materials, allocate resources and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate development of work orders with operating unit foremen and include required documentation.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, drawings, electrical one-lines and schematics; include safety and QA/QC needs.
• Lead backlog reviews and coordinate with Area Team on priorities and accuracy; ensure cost forecasting and budget adherence.
