• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Maritime Transportation, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience leading or managing employees and cross-functional operational activities.
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics strategies to optimize the utilization, availability, and deployment of marine transportation assets while meeting customer and contractual requirements.
• Manage day-to-day logistics activities for marine transportation operations and coordinate resources effectively.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations to align transportation resources with commitments and capacity.
• Partner with Maintenance and Operations to coordinate vessel inspections, maintenance, and repairs affecting asset availability.
• Collaborate with Compliance to identify and mitigate operational risks and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor schedules, asset utilization, and performance against goals; take corrective action as needed.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify cost-reduction opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance safety and compliance.
