Job summary

ExxonMobil in Spring, Texas, is seeking a Marine T&L Strategy and Contracting Manager to lead a team of eight responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering Global MDC, iso/flexi tanks, freight forwarders and port agency sourcing strategies.

You will drive value through category plans, supplier engagement, and alignment with regional and central procurement, while ensuring safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in maritime or supply chain fields.
• MBA or related masters preferred.
• Certifications in supply chain or logistics are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial category strategies and plans to deliver business value.
• Identify opportunities to fill the value capture pipeline and steward execution.
• Oversee the development of Logistics Category Procurement Strategies by Category Managers.
• Drive alignment with stakeholders to develop and execute commercial/go-to-market strategies.
• Lead supplier interfaces and support Supplier Engagement with Category Managers and the Business Line.
• Serve as liaison between Logistics Procurement, Category Managers and the business line to align value integration plans.
• Own and benchmark category metrics/KPIs and tools to drive value.
• Support creation of category tools and standardized templates for contracts and scopes of work.
