The Logistics Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing marine logistics to support GOM’s tug and barge activities. This role coordinates vessel communications, navigational assessments, voyage plans, assignments, and schedules to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery across multiple industries and navigable waters. Day-to-day tasks include managing relationships with vessels, vendors, and clients; aligning logistics plans with director of operations, project requirements, marine forecast, environmental conditions, and supply chain activities related to supporting marine operations. The Logistics Manager collaborates with director of operations, all shoreside management teams, and vessel management teams to resolve issues, optimize resource utilization, and uphold safety and regulatory standards. This role also involves analysing logistics reports, performance data, vessel reports, and implementing process improvements to support operational excellence.
