Marine/Heavy Civil Project Superintendent

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marine/Heavy Civil Project Superintendent to oversee field operations, ensure safety and quality standards, manage project staff, and coordinate construction activities including pile driving, concrete formwork, barge handling, and crane operations.

Responsibilities

1. Manage field operations, including quality, production, safety, equipment management, and client interactions across multiple projects.
2. Oversee project staff such as Craft Superintendents, Foremen, and Field Engineers.
3. Coordinate construction activities for Heavy Civil, Bridge, and Marine projects.
4. Establish work schedules and ensure adequate manpower.
5. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in marine, piling, or bridge construction; 10+ years of overall construction experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Willingness to work weekends and night shifts as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Ability to work outdoors in variable climates, on active construction sites, and around heavy equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing and balancing.
